Peace of Cake.

+ Introduction

While serving as Lead Designer at Falcons, my performance led to a unique concurrent appointment by the firm's primary investors to lead the creative direction for Peace of Cake. For over a year, I navigated these dual roles simultaneously—managing the high-velocity needs of a luxury startup while remotely spearheading the visual identity for its investment partners. This integrated partnership entrusted me with the end-to-end production of the brand’s elite aesthetic, from professional retouching to premium video content. By bridging the gap between two distinct entities, I ensured that Peace of Cake’s digital presence maintained the same standard of prestige and technical precision that defined my work at Falcons.

+ Challenges

Peace of Cake required a sensory visual narrative that could stand alongside the high-performance culture of its luxury investment portfolio. Key issues included:

  • Inconsistent digital storytelling across high-end hospitality social channels.
  • A lack of professional retouching to elevate the "crave-ability" of product assets.
  • Maintaining brand prestige while adapting to the fast-paced nature of the F&B industry.

+ Final thoughts

Successfully managing Peace of Cake’s F&B identity alongside Falcons’ luxury retail platform proved that a high-end aesthetic is universal. It demonstrated my ability to deliver specialized content for two distinct industries simultaneously.

At aleena®, this partnership was about versatility—translating the "prestige and performance" of an auction house into the "sensory and storytelling" world of luxury hospitality.
