Joining Falcons Auction in May 2024 as their lead designer, I played a pivotal role in shaping the identity of this luxury startup. Falcons operates at the intersection of prestige and performance, auctioning everything from exclusive automobiles and timepieces to high-end handbags and memorabilia. Over my 18-month tenure, the startup’s fluid environment allowed me to expand my impact beyond graphic design—leading the UI/UX redesign of the bidding platform and producing premium video content. My focus was to bridge the gap between high-speed digital auctions and the refined aesthetic of the luxury world.

Falcons’ previous digital experience was fragmented and failed to convey the exclusivity of the assets being auctioned. Key issues included:

  • Inconsistent visual language across categories (Cars vs. Handbags).
  • A high-friction bidding UI that deterred mobile users.
  • Lack of premium video integration to showcase asset condition.
